With a complex and at the same time minimalist design, the women’s Half Moon Parka fully reflects the Whales Spirit concept together with its premium, recycled and high performance materials. The complex 3-layer Shelltec fabric is made from recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles both on the outside and inside, while the Airmem membrane comes mostly from biomass from used coffee grounds, to replace the use of materials derived from petroleum. Innovation is involved in the manufacture of the parka as it uses high-performance technology, with a PFC-free water-repellent treatment(DWR)and bluesign certified fabric. It is a third layer ideal for use on its own as a shell on rainy or windy days, or with secondary layers that insulate from the cold. The hood is adjustable with Cohaesive technology adjustment.
