The EC135 is one of the most modern light helicopters. The interior offers space for all rescue equipment. The sheathed tail rotor (Fenestron) reduces the noise level and the risk of accidents. Emergency rescue in the event of accidents is significantly improved through the use of helicopters manned by an ambulance. For this reason, the Dutch ANWB Medical Air Assistance uses the EC135 as a rescue helicopter several times.
